Project Discussion

Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll guide your vision and explore all the possibilities. We work with highly qualified architects and designers to ensure your project reaches it’s full potential.
Budgeting and Financing

With our tremendous understanding of construction products and techniques, we will accurately determine the cost, size, complexity and time it will take to complete the project. Once established we will prepare a detailed estimate by trade. We’ll discuss the timing of funds and how it will affect the build process. We’ll make the most of your budget.
Prepare Contracts

Detailed AIA contracts will be created specifying work to be done, insurance and billing requirements, change order process, job schedule and completion dates.
Pre-construction Phase

We’ll review the project schedule and prepare you for the construction phase. We will obtain subcontractor services and order all materials to avoid any project delays.
Construction Phase

We’ll communicate with you regularly to keep you up to date on the project. Our project managers work side by side with the architects, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the best result for you. With our experience, we will meet all budget and scheduling goals.
Completion Phase

After final inspections are received we’ll obtain certificate of occupancy and prepare a close out package for the project. Final payment will be collected at this time.

Self Perform Work:

Where it is beneficial or adds value to a project, Halsted Construction self-performs several categories of construction with its own forces. Self-performing work such as concrete, framing, and general labor can achieve significant savings. It also allows us to have direct control over the work and quality, and to remain nimble in the face of program changes. Halsted Construction will only self-perform work if it is in the best interest of the client and the project. We always take competitive bids in order to ensure the best possible price for the work.
